Training

The Centre will provide skills and training in advanced manufacturing across the energy storage supply chain – from materials through to devices and into integrated commercial products – to facilitate the next-generation of energy storage technologies.

Research

Working with the industry partners, researchers will design and manufacture new energy storage devices and components, including advanced Li ion, supercapacitors and solid state Li and Na batteries, with improved rate capability, capacity and safety.

The ARC Training Centre for Future Energy Storage Technologies (StorEnergy) was established to train and skill the next generation of researchers and workers within the energy industry. The Centre created new knowledge in advanced energy materials, batteries and battery-control systems for integration into end user industries.
