Richard Brodribb is managing director at M. Brodribb Pty Ltd, power conversion specialists. He commenced work with the company as a design engineer in 1976, becoming technical director in 1980 and managing director in 2000.
Richard has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Monash University and a MBA from RMIT. He has wide experience in the design and manufacture of a range of equipment, including power transformers, instrument transformers and high current and high voltage DC supplies for the resources, utilities, defence and infrastructure sectors.
Richard has been responsible for the design and manufacture of large specialised AC and DC system projects around Australia and Asia as well as many smaller, high engineering content applications.
Recent significant projects include the design, manufacture and supply of 10 ship build of small and medium power transformers for the ANZAC frigate project, large cathodic protection installations at Fremantle wharf, 32 large DC systems for gas production in Queensland and large replacement projects for battery chargers for rail applications.
Richard is a life member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
