Jasreet Kaur

Jasreet finished her graduate and post- graduate degrees in Chemistry from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India followed by a year in education degree (2003- 2008), after which she taught senior school chemistry for 8 years. After moving to Australia, she worked as a research assistant with Queensland Micro and Nanotechnology Centre at Griffith University. Her current research at Queensland University of Technology involves industry partner Calix Limited, and focuses on the investigation of nano-structures of high energy density anode materials processed from biowaste such as rice husk for lithium-ion batteries.
