Chad Stone is an associate research fellow at Deakin University. His work is focused on upscaling next-gen battery materials, such as ionic liquids, solid polymer electrolytes and organic ionic plastic crystals.
Chad completed his PhD and Master’s degrees at Swinburne University of Technology. His work involved developing in-situ and in-operando characterization methods of battery materials, utilizing techniques such as synchrotron X-ray imaging, Raman spectroscopy and flow cells.
