PhD Candidate, Monash University
Prior to his PhD, Dale completed his BSc(Hons) at Monash University researching the evolution of odour-relevant volatile organic compounds during the coffee roasting process. His research involved use of the emerging technology of comprehensive multidimensional gas chromatography.
Dale has continued his passion for science and chemistry by investigating super concentrated electrolytes for applications in sodium-ion batteries under the supervision of Professor Douglas MacFarlane, Professor Maria Forsyth, and Dr Mega Kar.
Outside of his studies Dale enjoys music, relaxing with friends, and games of all sorts.
