Ben completed his B.Sc (Applied Science) (Hons.) and B.Sci (Nanotechnology) majoring in physics at RMIT University in 2013. He has contributed to research programs in a diverse range of materials fields including magneto-polymer composites, printable conductive nano-inks, microwave measurement techniques, microwave absorption and manipulation and energy storage. He is currently working as a Multifunctional Composite Materials Scientist within the Aerospace Division at Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) conducting research relating to nanomaterials for structural energy storage and thin film electronics which can be integrated into aerospace composites.
